Seatback pocket

Passenger seatback pocket storage location in the rear cabin of the Nissan Versa

The convenient seatback pocket is located on the rear side of the front passenger's seat. This integrated pocket can be used to safely store flat items such as road maps, magazines, small notebooks, or digital tablets, keeping the rear passenger area of your Nissan Versa organized.

WARNING

To ensure the proper and safe operation of the driver's and/or front passenger's NISSAN Advanced Air Bag System (if your Nissan Versa is so equipped), please strictly observe the following safety items:

  • Do not allow a passenger in the rear seat to aggressively push against, kick, or pull on the front seatback pocket or the head restraint/headrest, as this can affect the weight sensors.
  • Do not place heavy loads weighing more than 9.1 lbs. (4 kg) on the back of the seat, hanging from the head restraint/headrest, or stuffed into the seatback pocket.

Storage trays

WARNING

Do not place sharp, loose, or heavy glass objects in the open center console trays to help prevent them from becoming dangerous projectiles, which could cause injury in the event of an accident or a sudden emergency stop.

WARNING

Always ensure the glove box lid is securely latched and kept closed while driving your Nissan Versa to help prevent blunt force injury to the passenger's knees in the event of an accident or a sudden stop.

Console box

To open the deep center console storage box, simply pull up on the latch lever 1 located at the front edge and raise the padded lid 2 back on its hinges.

To close it securely, push the lid firmly downward until you hear the locking mechanism click and latch into place.

CAUTION

  • Avoid abrupt, aggressive starting and hard braking when the center cup holder is being used to prevent spilling your beverage. If the liquid inside the cup is hot, sudden spills can severely scald you, your passengers, or damage the electronic switches in the console.
  • Use only soft, crushable paper or plastic cups in the cup holder while the vehicle is in motion.

Hard objects, like heavy ceramic mugs or glass tumblers, can easily bounce out and injure you during an accident or sudden maneuver.

CAUTION

  • Do not use the door panel bottle holders to store cell phones, tools, or any other hard objects that could be thrown about in the cabin of your Nissan Versa and possibly injure occupants during sudden braking or a severe collision.
  • Do not use the door bottle holders to carry open liquid containers, as the motion of the door will cause them to spill inside the door panel.
